When we say “podcast” we are referring to either or both podcasts owned by TRL, and these include Primary Care UK and The Clinician's Survival Guide, both with lead host ‘Munir Adam’.

- Basic information such as your full name, professional title(s) place(s) of work and gender

- When you liaise with our partners and representatives in relation to the podcast.
- When allow recordings of your voice and associated content to be captured by a third party, such as a co-host, for the purposes of the podcast. In such situations we will receive your recording through that third party.

We use your personal information to:
- Communicate with you in connection with the podcast.
- Produce episodes for the podcast.
- Promote the podcast.
- Monitor and track progress of the podcast.
- Comply with any legal, ethical, and professional obligations that apply.
In some instances, such as the recording of podcast episodes, we will require your explicit consent before using your personal information. We will contact you to obtain such consent where applicable.
Who we share your information with

- Individuals and organisations involved with the production and/or promotion of the specific episode(s) to which you are contributing.

- The finalised episode will be hosted on a web-based service which will in turn publish the episode such that it can be accessed by a wide variety of podcast directories. Therefore, the episode(s) to which you contribute, will potentially be easily accessible by anyone with internet access anywhere in the world.
- Any parties as may be required to comply with legal, professional and ethical standards
Our lawful basis in relation to your personal data
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us using the email address above.
(f) We have a legitimate interest. Capturing your voice and associated content is an integral part of producing a podcast episode.
How we store your personal information
We will take all reasonable steps to ensure the secure storage of your personal information.
We will keep your personal data for only as long as is necessary. This is based on our retention policy, details of which can be provided if requested.
Recordings of your voice, and associated information, that relates to published episodes on the podcast will be retained for as long as the podcast exists. However, where such recordings no longer relate to any episodes in publication, and provided that utilisation of those recordings is not longer required for the purposes of the podcast, then all such recordings, and the corresponding data will be permanently deleted. In such cases we will dispose of your information by removing uploaded data from relevant websites and deleting all associated computer files, including any backups.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
